The Akuna Chicago Headquarters offers floor-to-ceiling whiteboards, ping-pong and pool tables, and a sweeping 360° view of the lakefront & city skyline.
Our new Shanghai office is spacious, modern and filled with natural light. The space includes a contemporary kitchen with ping-pong tables, glass-writeable walls and is located close to train lines.
Located in Sydney’s CBD, our employees enjoy their Darling Harbour view, walkability to major train lines of Wynyard Station, health gyms, restaurants, bars and cultural events of both Barangaroo and The Rocks precincts.

Akuna U
Akuna U is an internal knowledge sharing program that gives employees the opportunity to continue their education.
Akuna U offers talks to all employees hoping to expand their skill set in areas that are specific to Akuna as well as topics that we think our employees would find interesting. These talks are hosted by both Akuna employees and external guest speakers.
Employees that are new to trading can participate in an 8-week lecture series titled “Trading 101: Trading for Non-Traders” to better understand the options market-making world and Akuna’s place in it.
Programs like this are one of the reasons Akuna has been so successful, we believe that collaboration and knowledge transfer is priceless. It is motivating for our employees when they understand how the different departments fit together to achieve our goals.
AKUNA AND PHILANTHROPY
Akuna is socially conscious and believes in the importance of giving back to the local community.
Akuna supports the amazing work of Perspectives Charter Schools (PCS) – a network of tuition-free public schools serving some of the most under-resourced neighborhoods in Chicago. We stand by PCS in the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve personal and academic excellence. Akuna is proud to have select PCS students intern with us in our Chicago office, two of which have become full time team members! We have loved watching them grow and take on new responsibilities and challenges.
Beyond the significant financial giving Akuna contributes to PCS, we believe our hands-on support is just as important. At Akuna, employees at every level are involved with our philanthropy program and partner with PCS students and teachers on a range of education and support. Our team provides 10-week internships, college essay support, tech curriculum advice and professional development mentoring in areas such as insurance comprehension, money management and resume writing.
